I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington and a former Washington State Certified School Counselor. I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology and School Counseling from the University of Colorado-Denver, a CACREP accredited program. Currently I am doing post graduate work to become a Certified Animal Assisted Psychotherapist. I have over 15 years of experience as a counselor in clinical, school, agency and private practice settings working with children, teens, adults, and groups. In addition, I worked as a school counselor at the middle and high school levels for 3 years in the Seattle area. Outside of my counseling practice, I am passionate about volunteering my time with animal rescue groups and shelters. I enjoy spending free time with my family and am a water lover! I spend as much time as possible on or near the water sailing, kayaking, surfing or just relaxing on the beach.
